Te Hanga North Lands Trust is the umbrella Trustee for Blocks Te Hanga A4, A5, A6, & A2B. The Blocks have been managed in a semi-active way using farmer leesees to operate the grazing component of the land blocks following on from the original redevelopment stage some 25 years ago.
The Trust has taken a more active approach since 2016 when the Trustees commenced the Original Environmental Protection Project funded by Waikato Regional Council and Nga Whenua Rahui.
The Bellamy whanau have occupied Te Hanga A4, A5 & A6 for many years using the grazing component of the land as dairy support for their growing number of dairy businesses on Rapurapu Road.
At the end of May 2022 the Te Hanga A2B Block was taken back from previous use, as a part of a neighbours dairy milking unit and now has an Occupation License to the Trust subsidiary Tapapa West Holdings Ltd.
